In 1956, he published \"Glamour Photo,\" which featured photographs of female models and attracted attention as a new expression in photography of women. The following year, in 1957, he published \"Young Nudes\" and won the Newcomer Award of the Japan Photography Critics Association.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1958, he opened \"Masaya Studio\" in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
