BUNBUKU is an online-only bookstore based in Tokyo.

Established in 2025, it is still a small bookstore. We primarily handle photobooks, but also offer art, design, crafts, folk art, picture books, zines, exhibition catalogs, and self-published works by artists.

We don't overly distinguish between new and used books, but carefully select each item that embodies expression preserved on paper and the maker's touch. We also focus on books published in small editions, those that are difficult to obtain, and those that have been quietly overlooked.

Every book at BUNBUKU has been personally picked up and approved by the owner. While not a large bookstore, we are gradually building our own unique collection while engaging with Japan's used book distribution, domestic and international publishers, and artists' activities.
