David Hockney (1937-)

Born on July 9, 1937, in Bradford, England.
He went on to study at the Royal College of Art in London, where he quickly distinguished himself.
His work spans a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and stage design, and he is globally recognized as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He is particularly famous for his series of paintings of swimming pools in California and his photo collages known as "Joyners," which combine multiple photographs.
Starting with early figurative paintings, he depicted landscapes, portraits, and still lifes with vibrant colors and a unique perspective.
Since the 1970s, he has actively worked in photography and stage design, and in recent years has also been creating digital drawings using an iPad, constantly pursuing new forms of expression.
