Yuta Fuchikami's photobook, "Rojo 2" (On the Street 2), is a collection of portraits of people he met on the streets of the city and photographed on the spot.

The setting is the streets of Tokyo. The artist repeatedly encounters and photographs people, as if to confirm that others are not mere backgrounds or symbols, but "exist as individuals." This reveals the lives of unnamed individuals, such as a man wearing a handmade hat or someone who has been photographing the same tree for 10 years.

This work leads to the "Ueno Park" series, which later won the Shiogama Photo Festival 2022 Grand Prix and culminated in a photobook. It is a poignant collection of portraits that capture the existence and "now" of others living in the city.
