Juergen Teller's collection of works, "Woo!", is a photo book that was produced based on the exhibition of the same name held at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in London in 2013.
The concept for this book was directly linked to the experience of creating an installation in the ICA Fox Reading Room, a restricted space separated from the main gallery of the venue.

Teller initially planned to cover the walls with proofs and clippings related to his commercial photography, but as the project progressed, the concept expanded. A vast collection of images spanning nearly 20 years, including family photographs, magazine publications, recent advertising campaigns, landscapes, and personal endeavors, filled the space, creating unexpected relationships that traverse timelines and genres. This book, "Woo!", solidifies this vivid visual impact beyond the framework of an exhibition catalog.

Teller emerged on the London photography scene through his work on record jackets, and in the late '80s, he attracted attention with his portrait of Kate Moss at the age of 15. Since then, he has established a unique reputation for his style, which could be described as the antithesis of conventional fashion photography. This book features portraits of Lily Cole, Kurt Cobain, Vivienne Westwood, and other fashion and commercial photographs arranged in a collage-like sequence.

The tension and dialogue created by the juxtaposition of images goes beyond a simple retrospective or compilation of works; it brings to light once again the immediacy and radicality of Teller's photographs.
This book captures the "raw impact" of the exhibition and presents new visual relationships.

He has also established an international reputation by exhibiting his works at museums and contemporary art institutions around the world, including the Venice Biennale and Tate Modern.

His major solo exhibitions include the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain (Paris, 2006), Le Consortium (Dijon, 2010), ICA London (2013), Kunsthalle Bonn (2016), Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (Moscow, 2018), and Grand Palais Ephémère (Paris, 2023).
