These photographs are like the "unfiltered essence" of the series that earned Mitsugu Ohnishi the Ihei Kimura Award in 1993. Due to financial constraints at the time, they couldn't be compiled into a photo book. They are Mitsugu Ohnishi's visual diary of summers in the 1980s.
