This unique photo book overlaps two intimate realms: the "rooms" and "underwear" of 70 women living in cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, and Fukuoka.
Miyashita Maki's camera is not aimed at models, but at "girls living ordinary lives." She carefully captures the natural moments of these girls relaxing in their underwear in their own rooms.

Not only are the rooms neatly arranged, but the spaces still show traces of daily life, the color and shape of the underwear chosen, the accessories and furniture that exude a sense of the person's personality... Individuality that cannot be imagined from the face alone emerges surprisingly clearly through the private landscape of the room and underwear.

Miyashita Maki's gaze is intimate yet not voyeuristic; it seems to capture the atmosphere of everyday life itself, which is striking.
A collection of honest and charming works that reveals the quiet stories hidden within everyday life.
