Simple and fun moving toys from 39 countries.

Karakuri toys are from the last era in which the skills of artisans and craftsmen shine.
This book introduces 800 inexpensive, simple, yet ingenious and beautifully crafted "moving toys" made from familiar materials such as paper and wood as souvenirs or for children, presented in beautiful pages that strive for visual appeal.

The museum features a selection of toys from five continents, including Germany, London, South Tyrol, the United States, India, and other countries where excellent mechanical toys are produced. There are also many precious traditional Japanese mechanical toys.
