"Whistle for the Wind" is a retrospective collection of American photographer Ryan McGinley's work spanning the past 10 years.

At the age of 22, McGinley held his first solo exhibition, "Kids Are Alright," and came into the spotlight for capturing the free and impulsive energy of young people.
This book unfolds the story of "youth" and "light" that he has continued to focus on through his subsequent evolutionary works.
Outdoor nudes, dreamlike natural light, and a color palette that evokes both transience and hope—these elements are woven together like poetry, crystallizing into McGinley's unique visual language.
This book, published by Rizzoli and with a luxurious binding, is a symbol of his career.

Ryan McGinley ( Ryan McGinley) 1977-

Born in New Jersey, USA in 1977.

He studied graphic design at Parsons School of Design in New York, and after graduating he attracted attention for his work depicting young people in their natural state.

In an era before social media, he self-published a photo book of his friends called "The Kids Are Alright" (private edition) at his own expense. This photo book caused a stir in the art world and caught the eye of a curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, which had a major impact on his career.
In 2003, at the age of 25, he became the youngest person ever to hold a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, catapulting him into the spotlight as one of America's leading up-and-coming photographers.

His work is characterized by his skillful use of light and nature to capture the free and energetic moments of young people. In 2007, he was selected as the "Best Young Photographer" by the International Center of Photography, and in recent years he has also been active in the fields of portrait and fashion photography. He has demonstrated his wide-ranging talents by directing music videos and creating album artwork.
