Kishin Shinoyama's "hair". A photo book published in 1994 as part of Shinchosha's "PHOTO MUSEE" series, compiling color works photographed with women's pubic hair as the main subject. This item is the first edition published on October 15, 1994.

What appears on screen are mainly the body from the navel down and pubic hair. By almost eliminating elements that identify the person, such as the face and chest, it places "hair" itself, a part of the body, at the center of the photographs. The same subject is photographed repeatedly while changing the lighting, background, body orientation, and distance.

In the early 1990s, so-called "hair nude" became a major topic in Japan, and the situation surrounding bodily expression in photographic expression and publishing was also changing. This book is a collection of works that, in such times, took the title "hair" as is and exclusively photographed pubic hair, compiling it into one volume.
