The omission of time and sudden changes in the story separate the reader from reality, leading to a dreamlike sensation, like a memory gradually losing its shape.
Through a surreal perspective reminiscent of David Lynch or Charlie Kaufman, the film depicts not so much the events themselves as our own thoughts, which cannot help but give meaning to them.
The four-color offset printing using fluorescent inks creates color fluctuations and misalignments, further highlighting the unstable and ambiguous worldview of this work.
The touch is reminiscent of old American comics, but there is a newness to it that prevents it from being reduced to mere nostalgia.
