This is the first art book published to commemorate Naoki Yamamoto's 40th anniversary as an artist. It is a two-volume collection that covers about 40 years of his work, including single volume covers, magazine illustrations, artworks, and illustrations from his early pseudonym era.
The collection consists of two volumes, a color art book and a monochrome art book, featuring illustrations, cover art, magazine covers, and title pages related to works such as "Asatte Dance," "BLUE," "Red," "Arigato," and "Inaka." It focuses not on the manga works themselves, but on the evolution of Naoki Yamamoto's lines, compositions, and expressions.
It also includes color originals from the period when he worked under the pseudonyms Moriyama Tower and Tower Hill Mori. This allows readers to see the changes in his drawing style as it transitioned from analog to digital, and the appeal of his character depictions.
For long-time readers, it offers an opportunity to revisit his world of work, and for those encountering Naoki Yamamoto for the first time, it serves as an introduction to the breadth of his expression.
