Yuki Akari (born 1971)

Born in Tokyo. Writer, editor.

After graduating from Musashi University and working at a printing company during the transition from phototypesetting to DTP, she became editor-in-chief of a specialized magazine before going freelance in 2000. She mainly covers fields such as typography, design, and printing, interviewing and writing about people involved in manufacturing.

Her books include "Hand-drawn Lettering Design." She continues to write on themes such as Japanese lettering, typography, and printing culture.
